Bear Years: When a 19 year old polar bear fell into a moat, Nate wondered how old that was in bear years. 1 "human" year = 1.76 bear years.

Bob Moran: According to Nate, it's a song by the Beach Boys. You'll often find it mistakenly credited as "Barbara Ann."

Cabash: You're no doubt heard the song "Rock the Casbah" by The Clash. Well, if you're like Ryan, sometimes you "backwards all the letters," and end up rocking the cabash instead.

Forearm Bone: Elbow. No, wait. It's four words four letters!

Gnomes: Double E's helpers who count the requests for the Top 5 @ 5 every week. The chief gnome is named Gnorman.

Guy Behind the Glass: Another alias of Double E, coined by the band Valentiger when they joined us live in studio in early '09. (They loved him!)

Ryan's car: Ryan has a lot of car trouble. But we learned if we occasionally gave his car "shout outs" on the show, it would behave and allow him to join us!

Shenanigans: Originally a Double E term for the crew's off-air antics, it has since come to describe our strange news stories from around the world.

Short Words: They're better than long words. Unless you're trying to confuse Ryan.

Sick: The condition you find yourself in after winning a pair of concert tickets from 88-3 FM. The correct response to the question "How does that make you feel?"
